There is absolutely no greater feeling than being home for the holidays. No matter how many pillows, blankets, and mattress pads you stack on your dorm mattress, the feeling of being in your bed at home will never compare. Although I usually don't think to decorate my room for the holidays, I decided this year that it needed to be cozy and festive for the impending cold. The best part, I used things I already had lying around to make the perfect, comfiest bed.
Comfy usually equals casual, so I literally threw the throw blankets on my bed since they wouldn't stay folded for long anyways, #reallife. The different textures and colors made for the coziest environment and I'm resisting the urge to hop into bed as I type this.
The white pom-pom garland was purchased from HomeGoods last year and I decided to hang it on my bed frame rather than the window. I also strung some annoyingy-glittery-yet-so-gorgeous garland (also from HomeGoods last year) since this space in my room is usually just that; a light blue space above my bed. Fun fact, the "wreath" is that same garland rolled up into a circle.
Now my room is cozy and holiday ready! Time to go vacuum up all the glitter before my mom yells at me, haha!
Hope you enjoyed,
